Did you know the last lunar eclipse of 2021 will occur on November 19th? This event will be a partial lunar eclipse, meaning that the Earth will be moving in between the Sun and the Moon, but not directly in front, thus casting a shadow upon only a part of the Moon. Partial lunar eclipses are rare since two events must be co-existing: there must be a full moon and the Sun, Earth, and Moon must be aligned in almost a straight line. This penumbral eclipse will be visible from most of Europe, most of Asia, Australia, Africa, North and South America.
