Inn on Boltwood Continues Time-Honored Tradition of Hospitality Excellence
On May 21st, members of the western Massachusetts hospitality industry gathered at the Sheraton Springfield Monarch Place to celebrate the 55 finalists for the 2018 Howdy Awards. The annual awards celebration is sponsored by the Greater Springfield Convention and Visitors Bureau to recognize and honor front-line hospitality associates. There are more than 5,000 people employed in the region’s tourism sector.
The Inn on Boltwood continues a time-honored tradition of hospitality excellence with three (3) associates being selected as finalists this year. Julia Gauthier, Banquet Captain, and Courtney Reed, Sales Coordinator, were both finalists in the Banquet and Meetings category. The Inn’s General Manager, Fabio Pari-Di-Monriva, was selected in the Accommodations category. While the Inn did not take home the top prize in any category this year, the finalists were proud and honored to have been recognized. Nominations are submitted by the general public, which means guests have been touched by the memorable moments created by these individuals. Be certain to give a well-deserved high-five to Julia and Courtney when you see them next!
