With a little help from our friends…weddings are truly a team effort! While it doesn’t happen often (thankfully), sometimes wedding vendors are a no show (a whole post could be devoted to the importance of contracts, but some other time). Earlier this season, while we were placing favors and doing the usual pre-wedding reception detail checks, we received a call from our couple’s photographer. This was one hour prior to the ceremony. She was calling to tell us that she had “gotten the date wrong, and wasn’t coming.” Wait, what?!
We immediately got on the phone, and luckily, one of our photographer friends was available. He dropped everything, started packing his gear and jumped in the car as we were giving him the details. With only a 15 minute delay, we got these two lovely people married and they got the best upgrade possible – a session with Seth Kaye Photography. Congratulations Leanne & Cole, and a huge thank you to Seth for being our knight in shining armor.
