At Inn on Boltwood, we pride ourselves on the diversity of our team. Our associates represent varied geographical and cultural backgrounds, which inform their approach to our unique brand of high touch hospitality. The one commonality we all share, however, is our core values that guide the actions of our associates at every level. This month we celebrate the success of two of our associates who each strive to continuously improve: Felicia Laurin in Housekeeping and Courtney Reed in Sales.
Felcia Laurin was recently named our Associate of the 2nd Quarter. Since joining the Housekeeping Team as a Room Attendant in January 2017, Felicia’s actions have made a positive impact for our guests and fellow associates. Not only has she shown great self-motivation in the cleaning of her rooms, she has also shared suggestions for improvements within the department. She takes great pride in her work and regularly takes initiative to ensure the extra touches are taken care of for our guests. Whether it’s cleaning and organizing the housekeeping closets or cleaning the restrooms, she is often the first to seek out additional tasks to help her fellow team members. It’s these qualities and her commitment to continuously improve that have earned her the respect of the entire team.
Courtney Reed has been a fixture at The Jeff since Fall 2013. Her first role was that of Host in our restaurant, 30Boltwood. Courtney’s passion for hospitality and dedication to her fellow team members quickly made her an invaluable and integral part of the team. In Spring 2017, Courtney took on the additional responsibility of part-time sales coordinator. In the weeks that followed, she stepped up as interim Sales Coordinator to ensure continuity in the forward momentum of the Sales team. Her vibrant and ebullient personality, her attention to detail and commitment made her the natural fit to stay on permanently as our Sales Coordinator.
