Itβs been a quiet summer in Amherst without our lively students. We are excited for a new academic year full of unforgettable experiences. Start making new memories with your loving families at Inn on Boltwood, your home away from home. Immerse yourself in the New England charm of our Inn while reading or studying by the fire in our cozy library. Treat yourself to a delicious meal highlighting local produce at 30Boltwood. Enjoy our seasonal outdoor seating now extended through November, thanks to the installation of heaters surrounding our covered porch and firepit area.
While visiting, stroll around town and check out some of the local attractions, such as Museums10 and the Amherst College Wildlife Sanctuary, or enjoy a scenic drive to experience the leaf-peeping season. Inn on Boltwood is the perfect location close to some of the most magnificent scenic byways, mountaintop views, and colorful farm fields. Support a local business by renting a bike at Laughing Dog Bicycles in downtown Amherst and ride The Norwottuck Rail Trail, an 11-mile path linking Northampton, Hadley, and Amherst. It is an easy, flat, and paved bike path that connects with other trail networks. If you like to learn while being outdoors, take the Amherst Writers Walk, a self-directed walking tour of the homes of famous authors that have lived in Amherst.
We look forward to welcoming you to Inn on Boltwood this fall.
